I'm a sucker for music and romance, this didn't disappoint. I was prepared to give 4*s then she gave us that incredible epilogue leaving me wanting more. My one and issue was the sex on almost every other page, a little too much for me, leaving me to give a 4 * review for that reason alone. The 5*s, the epilogue we got everything you wish all authors would give. HEA and then some!!! Great story, yes, far fetched, yeah but so what it's a book, great alpha hero, handsome, sexy, yes, beautiful, sexy, strong heroine, yes, cliffhanger, no, cheating, no, threesomes, no. Typos a few but who cares, easily overlooked and should be. Grammar police, this is meant to be a fun, sweet and sexy read, please keep that in mind. I was not asked to review this and am not a friend of the author, this is my honest opinion. I hope we get more soon, I'd love to more of Billy's, Rose and Rebel's future, can't get enough. I thoroughly enjoyed this steamy rock star romance. Billy and Rose had sizzling chemistry from the moment they met. I loved that she stood out to him in a sea of faces for many years and then they finally got their chance at something real. This book was sexy and steamy, suspenseful and intriguing, and dramatic and angst-filled. Prissy was something else! I would love more of these characters in the future. There isn't much background on these characters but I didn't feel it detracted from the story. This is a must read if you like rock star romances. Read with KU.
Pretty good book. Conflict didn't seem real or even necessary to me, but it is what was written. Nice neat little HEA book as far as I'm concerned. Alls well that ends well...and this one certainly did. I thought the attraction between the two of them was a bit overwhelming at the Rebel party, but I'm not into that scene. For a bad boy punk rocker, he sure was a sweetheart. That kinda seemed out of place to me, but I liked him, so I didn't care. Billy turned out to be a really nice guy that just lived by the beach and kept to himself, reading and working on his music. Rose is his biggest fan. I did like the mention of the red color she wore and that he had noticed, but it is a bit far-fetched. Again, didn't care, liked it...lol. Prissy was a PIA, plain and simple.

Make My Heart Sing is a beautiful and breathtaking novel. It was the first book that I've read to be about a rockstar romance and I must say this novel made me want more. Make My Heart Sing has everything you would expect from the budding romance, to the cat fights, paparazzi, music, and all and all the struggles people of the music business face. From the moment Rose met Billy, there was an instant connection that prevented a chapter from being dull. The reader gets to watch Rose handle the struggles that come with dating a music sensation which ultimately grows her character. On the flip side, Billy remained the character who knew what he wanted and went after it. Due to Billy knowing what he wanted and ultimately got what he wanted, his character did not develop as much as the others. We do however get a glimpse into his past before Rose which plays an important role in the novel. The last chapter in the book is one of those chapters where you either saw it coming or you didn't. I was so mesmerized by the excellent writing that I didn't catch it. However, once I finished reading the novel, all the subtle hints in the book began to connect perfectly. I suggest reading this novel because it is one of those stories that prevents the reader from walking away because it is so carefully crafted that it's impossible to take your eyes off the page. I look forward to reading more from Everly Bloom.
I really liked this book. I am a sucker for rockstar romance novels and this one was a good one!
I have very few criticisms on the overall story...and admit that they could be perceived as personal preferences too. I felt a little overwhelmed by the volume of sex scenes...and hey, I love a good sex scene, it was a little overkill IMO. ) Our female character, Rose, is a little too weepy (?) and she could have reacted with less tears, though I admit, it served the story fine. Prissy went from "Diva" to psycho in the blink of an eye, a stepped up progression of her mental illness over the course of the book would have been easier to swallow at the end.
The author admits that this book is self published and not professionally edited and there are some word use issues, but nothing near as bad as I've read in other books.
That said, none of the above make me rate the book lower. This was a good, fun, and sweet story to read and I would not hesitate to purchase this book again or any other book from this author. I'm looking forward to future books in this series!

I'm a bit conflicted about my feelings for this book. The book started out great. I loved the chemistry between the main characters, Billy and Rose, and the more they spent time together, the more I fell in love with their characters. I loved the storyline--I have a soft spot for rockstar novels--and I think it was very unique. I even enjoyed reading about the secondary characters.
So why the 3.5 rating? Well, about half-way through the novel, it started feeling non-believable and unrealistic. And the ending of the book, while unexpected, didn't feel right to me. It felt too rushed and it, in my opinion, felt out of place.
I'm not saying this isn't a good novel, because I finished the whole book in one sitting and I did enjoy it, I just didn't love it. Would I recommend it to others? Definitely. It was a good book and I think many readers would love the novel. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Very unrealistic plot with a controlling man who freaks if the woman doesn't answer his phone a jealous ex who is fake as hell. This wasn't for me.
I will give it a 4.5 because it was a very good book, but it was desperately in need of an edit.
